چکیده
The movement of particles in a capillary electrophoretic system under electroosmotic flow was modeled using Monte Carlo simulation with the Metropolis algorithm. Two different cases repulsive and attractive interactions between molecules were taken into consideration. Simulation done spin-like system, where nearest second closest neighbors considered two separate steps modeling study. A total 20 rates for both modeled. through is defined as current. At low interaction level molecules, regular obtained; on other hand, increasing current shows phase transition behavior. results also show that modular can be obtained separations by tuning ratio molecular electric field strength.

Magnetic Field Induced Phase Transitions in YBa2Cu4O8
The c-axis resistivity measurements in YBa2Cu4O8 from Hussey et al. for magnetic field orientations along the c-axis as well as within the ab-plane are analyzed and interpreted using the scaling theory for static and dynamic classical critical phenomena. We identify a superconductor to normal conductor transition for both field orientations as well as a normal conductor to insulator transition ...
متن کاملNew electric-field-driven mesoscale phase transitions in polarized suspensions.
We report the discovery of a new class of an electric field-driven bulk phase transition due solely to dipolar interactions in a suspension under the action of a uniform ac field where the effects of other competing forces are suppressed. This transition appears after the well-known chain-column formation and causes the uniform suspension of columns to rearrange into a cellular pattern consisti...
متن کاملElectric field induced phase transitions in polymers: a novel mechanism for high speed energy storage.
Using first-principles simulations, we identify the microscopic origin of the nonlinear dielectric response and high energy density of polyvinylidene-fluoride-based polymers as a cooperative transition path that connects nonpolar and polar phases of the system. This path explores a complex torsional and rotational manifold and is thermodynamically and kinetically accessible at relatively low te...
متن کاملElectric-field-induced Spontaneous Magnetization and Phase Transitions in Zigzag Boron Nitride Nanotubes
We demonstrate an alternative scheme for realizing spin polarizations in semiconductor nanostructures by an all-electric way. The electronic and magnetic properties of the model system, zigzag pristine boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs), are investigated under a transverse electric field (E) through spin-polarized density functional theory calculations. As E increases, the band gap of BNNTs is red...
متن کاملElectric-field-induced phase transitions in bent-core mesogens determined by x-ray diffraction.
The changes in the x-ray diffraction diagram induced by an electric field have been studied in four bent-core liquid crystals. Two of the compounds present columnar B1 phases and the other two show dark conglomerate (DC) structures. In the B1 materials the electric field gives rise to switchable phases whose diffraction pattern is that of the smectic C polar (SmCP) phase. In the DC structures t...
